I completely forgot about these until I was thinking about muffins earlier and decided to find the recipe you posted! I'll probably be making these sometime in the next few days.

Thanks for putting the nutritional information, by the way! Makes life so much easier for me. :D

I know you didn't train as much as you wanted to, but you did it anyway and you finished - I'm proud of you. Hopefully this will help you refocus so you're ready for 13 miles (a distance I cringe at the thought of!)

Maybe you're just not a music runner? I have to sing along (well, mouth along) with the music when the run gets hard. I probably look crazier than you.

Have a safe trip and a lot of fun today! Next trip should be to see meeee!!!

Look how far you've come! I remember when you were starting C25K. Keep at it. You can rock the socks off of this marathon! <3

Hi,

I can sympathise with lax blogging and running. Since my first son was born nearly 5 weeks ago I've managed one run and that was a 30 minute leg of a relay club race event. Hardly earth shattering.

Well done for setting a new goal too. At the moment mine is: Get out for a run! That's it. I'm hoping to start running on my lunch breaks as I work in Edinburgh near Arthur's Seat and The Meadows so have nice areas to run in.

Anyway, just thought I'd post a message of support for a fellow runner/blogger. Good luck with your training programme.

All the best,
Al (@alnicholl77 on Twitter)

Oh wow, I love your dedication to running, Katy.

It's something that I really need to start doing. Just last night I realised how much weight I've put on over the past few months, my favourite jeans that used to fit perfectly wouldn't zip up. I don't know if I'd ever be able to run a half marathon (that has me breaking out in a sweat just thinking about it) but running's something I could work into my routine, unlike going to the gym.

Maybe I'll try it slowly...walking the dog(s) for longer or even jogging with them/her a little. I'm sure it would benefit them too!

Good luck with your training!

I feel the same way. I run slowly. I'm not the best at it. But I DO it, and I enjoy it. The only person I should compete with is me. :)
